For OUR RECIPE you will need ...
1 sachet Schwartz Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe Mix
200g (7oz) bacon, diced
175g (6oz) mushrooms, sliced
450ml (¾ pint) semi-skimmed milk
275g (10oz) spaghetti, cooked and drained
Directions ...
1. Fry bacon, until crispy. Add mushrooms and fry for 1-2 minutes.
2. Mix sachet contents with milk and add to pan. Bring to the boil, stirring.
3. Add spaghetti and heat through for 2 minutes.
4. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Hints & Tips ...
Why not try adding chicken or courgettes, replacing the spaghetti with cooked pasta twists, topping with grated cheese and grilling until golden.
Additional Usage
Microwave directions for 800W: Place bacon and mushrooms in a microwaveable dish and cook on full power uncovered for 4 minutes stirring half-way through. Drain excess liquid. Blend sachet mix iwth the milk and cook on full power uncovered for 10 minutes stirring half-way through. Stir in cooked pasta and cook on medium for 1 minute to heat through.
