Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoon cornflour

  • 2 tablespoons Chinese 5 Spice

  • 1 tablespoons dark soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoons honey

  • 150 millilitre (¼ pint) beef stock

  • 1 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 350 gram (12 ounce) lean rump or sirloin steak, cut into strips

  • 1 courgette, cut into sticks

  • 1 red pepper, sliced

  • 100 gram (4 ounce) beansprouts

  • 100 gram (4 ounce) egg noodles

Instructions

  • 1 Heat the oil and fry the steak for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the vegetables and cook for a further 3-4 minutes.
  • 2 Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the pack instructions. Drain. Blend the cornflour with the Chinese 5 Spice Seasoning, soy sauce, honey and stock. Add to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring.
  • 3 Stir in the noodles and serve.
