Ingredients
  • 1 bottle red wine

  • 1 carton cranberry and blackcurrant drink

  • 150 millilitre (¼ pint) brandy

  • 2 sachets Mulled Wine Spices

  • 115 gram (4 ounce) demerara sugar

  • 2 oranges, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  • 1 Pour the wine, cranberry drink and brandy into a large saucepan. Add the mulled wine spice sachets and stir well. Bring to just below boiling point for 10 minutes.
  • 2 Stir in the sugar, orange and lemon slices. Remove the sachets and serve piping hot.
