Fakeaway 5 Spice Prawn Stir fry

1 tablespoon Chinese 5 Spice

2 tablespoons plain flour

500 grams raw prawns

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 spring onions, sliced

1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed

1 inch of ginger, peeled and grated

50 grams green beans

50 grams tenderstem broccoli

1 red pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons soy sauce

250 grams egg noodles, cooked according to pack instructions

- 1 Mix together the Schwartz Chinese 5 Spice and the plain flour in a large bowl until combined. Toss the prawns through the flour mixture to coat.
- 2 Place a large frying pan or wok on a high heat and add 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Once hot, fry the prawns for 2-3 minutes until the flesh turns pink the whole way through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 3 Add the remaining oil to the pan, along with the spring onions, garlic, ginger, green beans, broccoli and red pepper. Fry for 2-3 minutes, then add the soy sauce, egg noodles and prawns. Stir for a further 2 minutes until heated through.
- 4 Divide between four plates to serve and season with extra soy sauce if desired.
- 5 Tip: Substitute the beans, broccoli and red pepper for a pack of stir-fry vegetables if desired.
