Bacon Tagliatelle with Mushrooms

100 gram (4 ounce) mushrooms, sliced

400 gram tin chopped tomatoes

1 sachet Bacon Tagliatelle with Mushrooms

50 millilitre (2 fluid ounce) water

1 tablespoons tomato puree

275 gram (10 ounce) tagliatelle, cooked and drained

1 teaspoon oil

200 gram (8 ounce) bacon, chopped

Instructions
- 1 Heat oil and fry bacon for 1-2 minutes. Drain excess liquid.
- 2 Add mushrooms and fry for a further 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes, sachet contents, water and tomato purée. Bring to the boil, stirring.
- 3 Simmer for 5 minutes and then combine the sauce with the tagliatelle.
- 4 Serve with a crisp green salad and garlic bread.
