A deliciously seasoned apple sauce made with cider, an ideal accompaniment to all pork dishes.
  • 200 gram (7 ounce) cooking apples

  • 125 millilitre (4 fluid ounce) dry cider

  • 15 gram (1/2 ounce) caster sugar

  • 25 gram (1 ounce) unsalted butter

  • 2 teaspoon Pork Seasoning

  • 1 Peel, core and roughly chop the apples. Place the apples in a saucepan with the cider, sugar and butter.
  • 2 Put a tight fitting lid on the pan and cook slowly for approximately 10-15 minutes until puréed.
  • 3 Pass the mixture through a sieve and add the Perfect Shake Pork Special Blend. Re-heat and serve.
  • 4 Serve with Mini Pork Sausage Skewers.
