  • 1 red onion, sliced

  • 1 tablespoons Garam Masala Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger

  • 3 carrots, cut into matchsticks

  • 350 gram (12 ounce) white cabbage, shredded

  • 1 green pepper, sliced

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) peanuts

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1 Melt the butter in a large frying pan and fry the onion until softened. Add the Garam Masala and Ginger and fry for 1 minute.
  • 2 Add the remaining vegetables, peanuts, salt and pepper and stir fry for 7-8 minutes until the vegetables have softened.
  • 3 This unusual Indian stir fry is great served with pan fried chicken or lamb chops.
